Rose Quartz

What the world needs now! Cupid bestowed Rose Quartz stone upon the Earth as a gift of love, passion, and happiness for all. I have really been seeing a stronger need for utilizing rose quartz to help bring more humanity to our planet through channeling the frequency of love.

Rose Quartz encapsulates Love! It is a soft pink and is a crystal that everyone should have for many reasons/purposes. Scientists believe the pink color results from titanium, manganese, and iron impurities. Some also say it is from Dumortierite. The minerals in it are what gives the pale pink color and appearance.

Rose quartz is often attached to romantic love. However it is perfect for all types of love, ranging from self-care to family bonds, to relationships between partners and spouses. It focuses on a soft brand of love, including the healing powers of communication.  I often recommend it as a gift for mothers as it is a stone of self love and many mothers put their children/families ahead of themselves.

Rose quartz is also excellent for those who feel a sense of betrayal after a relationship breakup. It also removes the discomfort of guilt if you perceive yourself to be responsible for someone else’s pain. It helps you let go of painful emotional traumas, leaving only the lessons and the love. It can help you to find your confidence as you accept yourself just as you are. It can provide comfort and support to those facing inner demons to bring about change. It is actually great for armoring yourself, and helps you recognize where you are rigid and stubborn to help open your heart to be softer and gentler and still be strong on the outside.

On a physical level, rose quartz helps address inflammatory conditions. It has a cooling effect and absorbs heat making it good for many inflammatory issues including congested sinuses. It is known to assist with moving blood that is caused by stagnant Chi. If you are someone with low blood pressure, a racing heart after exertion, poor circulation, cold extremities, palpitations, insomnia or angina it is very useful. Use rose quartz to regulate your period, for infertility and headaches due to blood stagnation.

Place rose quartz in the back right corner (relative to the doorway) of your bedroom to help stabilize your relationship and/or call in new love. Meditate with rose quartz and enjoy its soothing energies and help open your heart to giving and receiving love.
